I work at the interface of metaphysics, epistemology, and the philosophy of science. My goal as a researcher has been to explore questions about our beliefs in ordinary objects: the material things we see and interact with daily. I study object debunking arguments that appeal to the limits of our evolved perceptual capacities, and I develop anti-skeptical responses from semantic externalism as well as positive arguments that ordinary objects are indispensable for science.
